two_column_class
Karen is a lifetime learner passionate about bringing you the latest science based tools in wellness. She inspires and empowers you to change your life, one breath at a time. It runs Monday mornings and it’s not what you’d expect from a yoga class. There’s no fixed template, no pressure to keep up with anyone—only an invitation to learn and explore.
Every student gets individual attention. If something doesn't work for you, Karen figures out what does. Complete beginners come, and so do people who've been at it for twenty years. Both find something worthwhile here.

Yoga Classes for All Levels
No prerequisites. No experience required.
If you've tried yoga before and it didn't click, it's not about yoga — it's about the class. We set up differently. Worth giving it another go.
Sessions run to instrumental music. The work covers strength, stability, and balance, and alongside the physical side, Karen brings in breathwork and meditation. She explains the reasoning behind what you're doing, not just what shape to hold. It makes more of a difference than you'd think.
Mats, blocks, straps, and blankets are provided for everyone, every session.

The guided relaxation at the end is the thing students bring up most.
It runs about twenty minutes. People walk in carrying a full week of stress and walk out noticeably different.
A lot of them say it's the best twenty minutes of their Monday.

This Isn't a Standard Yoga Class
At most studios, the teacher leads and you follow. If a pose doesn't work for your body, you're largely on your own. Managing an injury, a chronic condition, or simply feeling out of your depth? That's yours to figure out.
At MovementRX it works differently.
Before your first class, every new student has a one-to-one conversation with Karen. She asks about your physical history, any limitations, and what you're actually hoping to get from the practice. In class, she works from that — adjusting movements for each person, bringing the right props, offering individual modifications so the practice fits your actual body.
You are SEEN in Karen's class — and in every class at MovementRX. That is what makes our staff so special.
That's genuinely rare. Karen has over 12 years of teaching experience and an RYT-500 certification — one of the highest levels of training in the field. She's also put years of additional study into therapeutic and evidence-based practice. She doesn't just teach yoga — she pays attention to the people in the room.

Meet Karen Gagnier
Karen has practised yoga for over 20 years and taught for more than 12. Her RYT-500 is one of the higher certifications available, and beyond that she's spent years studying therapeutic approaches and the science behind how movement and breathwork affect the nervous system.
That background shows in how she teaches. She can explain what a pose does and why it matters, not just how to hold it. If you need modifications — because of age, an old injury, a health condition, or simply being new — she figures out what actually works for you.

Your first Yoga For Life class is free. Classes run Mondays at 10:45 AM at MovementRX Studio in Wynnewood. Before you attend, you'll have a short conversation with Karen so she knows who's walking through the door and can make sure the class is set up to work for you.
People who come regularly tell us they're stronger, steadier on their feet, and noticeably calmer through the week. Not all at once — over time, with consistency.
MovementRX is a small community of people who show up for themselves, week after week. Come and see if it's what you're looking for.
