Dance Classes, For People Who Don't Think They Can Dance

Most people assume dance classes aren't for them. They've made their peace with watching from the sidelines — convinced that dancing is for people who started at age five or were just born with rhythm to spare. That's exactly the story many students walk into MovementRX Studio carrying. But then they took Dance Fusion and quickly discovered their new passion.

Who These Classes Are For

Dance Fusion is open to everyone. No prior experience, no audition — just show up.

Mostly adults 50 and up, but Ryan gets younger students too — usually people who never felt comfortable in big commercial gyms. Modifications are available every session, so your starting point doesn't matter much.

Show up and Ryan will sort out the rest.

The exercises are compound movements: squats, hinges, lunges. Things your body already does. The structure stays the same week to week, which makes it easier to see where you've improved.

The group that comes to these classes share a good vibe. People know and show up for each other. That's the MovementRX way.

Cardio Core Circuit

Tuesdays · 10:45 AM · 45 min · Ryan O'Neill

Tuesdays · 10:45 AM

45 Minutes

Strength + HIIT Cardio

Ryan's hardest class. Strength training combined with HIIT cardio intervals — you'll know you worked. Warm-up, three resistance circuits (three sets each), cardio between circuits, cool down. Mostly barbells and resistance bands, focused on compound movements that hit multiple muscle groups at once.

Strong and Steady

45 Minutes

Mobility + Strength

No cardio intervals. The whole 45 minutes is mobility, stability, balance, and functional strength — resistance bands, dumbbells, kettlebells, bodyweight. A lot of people who come to this class are working around old injuries or building a base before adding intensity. It's not an easy option. It's just a different kind of hard.

You can come once a week or both days. Plenty of students do both.

Meet Ryan O'Neill

Ryan has been teaching group fitness and personal training since 2017. ACE certified in group fitness, personal training, and sports nutrition — he knows how to put a session together that's genuinely safe and genuinely hard.

He's the only instructor at MovementRX under 50, and brings a particular energy to every class. High energy, deeply positive, and invested in every single person in the room.

Each session, Ryan introduces a word of the week — something connected to mindfulness, with a short story about how it showed up in his own life.

Cardio Core Circuit on Tuesday will push you. Strong and Steady on Friday will make you better at moving. A lot of students end up at both.

People who train with Ryan regularly get stronger, move better, and often lose weight. Some have seen their A1C go down. A few say the biggest thing wasn't physical — just feeling more capable, and having people they actually want to see on a Friday morning.

First class is free. Come and experience what MovementRX is all about.
