Dance Joy
A dance-fitness class designed for everyone who wants to move and feel good doing it. Set to upbeat, classic hits and current music, the class blends choreographed dance sequences with simple cardio movement — modifiable for every level, welcoming for every body. You don't need to be a dancer. You don't need to know the moves. You just need to want to show up. Come for the workout, stay for the community.
Bio:
Aviva Legatt didn't plan on becoming a dance fitness instructor. She fell into it — encouraged by a beloved teacher to get certified, then accidentally subbing a class when no instructor showed. A photo from her first class led to her first paid teaching job, and she has been leading dance fitness ever since. Since then, she's become certified to teach dance fitness and IBBFA (barre) and founded the Main Line Fit Club. She brings the same joy and accessibility to her Movement Rx class that she found in her own first dance fitness experience. She believes movement is about confidence and connection, not perfection — and her classes are designed for every body that wants to move. She also holds a doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania in higher education, serves as an education consultant and is a mom to two young boys. See you in class!
